FAVORITES
Bakeware - Le Creuset Stoneware!! I have about two dozen different pieces, all in Cherry Red. They cook and clean up like a dream!
Closet Storage Containers - The Komplement box series from IKEA! They have a variety of sizes and styles and they hold more items than you could ever imagine - and they fit quite nicely in all types of closets. The Vacker series is also great. They are sturdy and attractive at the same time, and stack nicely.
MUST HAVES
Dishware - An all white set of dishware is a must. The set can be as plain and simple as you want or as detailed as you desire. A place setting for 12 is always the best bet. If you find some you like in a set of 8, then purchase 2 sets. Extras are always good to use for serving if needed or replacements as breakage occurs. I use mine for special occasions & holiday settings. I can take them in any style direction. And I love layering with colored or textured chargers and runners!
TIPS
Pet Hair Removal - A rubber glove works the best. Just put it on and start rubbing your furniture - it will ball up all the pet hair for easy removal.
Christmas Tree Water - Before you set your Christmas tree in water, trim the bottom for a fresh cut and then fill your stand with hot tap water to help keep the sap soft and help the tree soak up water from the start.
